This film was preserved by the Swiss National Film Archive in 1975. A second preservation was made by the Swiss National Film Archive in 2002 with grants from Memoriav. The second work was carried out by the Swiss National Film Archive and Hermann Wetter, in collaboration with Egli Film & Video AG and Schwarz-Film AG. We at AV Preservation by reto.ch wish to complete this second restoration of the Swiss version, as well as to restore also both the French and the Soviet versions of this film.
